Zack and Brycen - Summer 07 Part 2...KinKamp

In mid July we travelled to Silver Lake for our first camping trip this summer. We'd been waiting for weeks for rain and of course it rained a ton while we were camping!!!! We spent most of Saturday trying to keep the kids out of the mud...they watched movies, dug a mud pit and played. Late in the afternoon it cleared and Geoff took the boys fishing for sunfish. They caught about 6 of them.


Zack thought the fish felt slippy but wasn't scared. He loved throwing them back in the water...tried to make them do a flip first!!!!





Brycen thought the fist was pretty cool until it jumped at him...then he screeched but laughed!!!!






Zack made a new friend with 'the boy next door', Matthew and spent the weekend playing and swimming with him.






Zack and his Dad built a sandcastle on before we left on the Sunday...when it was finally warm and dry again!!!









Brycen refused to go in the water...not a big beach swimmer yet...but he'll make a good beach bum...he loves hangin in the sand.
